Mark Darian-Smith is a barrister at the Sydney Bar, practising out of 13 Wentworth Chambers. Prior to being called to the Bar in 2019, Mark was a Dispute Resolution partner at King & Wood Mallesons for 26 years, where he worked across all Australian jurisdictions and gained very wide experience in commercial litigation. Mark also has acted in a range of domestic and international commercial arbitration matters.

Mark is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). Mark’s practice at the Bar covers commercial law, equity and trusts, banking and financial services, real property and competition matters as well as international arbitration.

Mark has had extensive experience during his career in the mediating and arbitrating of disputes, having frequently acted for parties involved in private or court annexed mediations. He has also acted as mediator in numerous commercial/ business disputes.
